At times… I wonder. Is it really this way?
Is it real?

My father used to tell me: “Things are never as they seem”. I think he was talking about being prudent towards life and strangers… But now… At this age, it seems like these words of wisdom are taking a totally different meaning.
Now they’re like… the symbol of a whole existence…

There are times when my head seems to just… to just break away from my body…
Like my mind belongs to another dimension… Like it longs to it, and wants to come back home…
It’s something like being rocked by some slow and regular tidal waves… Hypnotizing… Like drifting along — drifting away…
Reality dissolves itself into watercolour… And then water… And then air…
Dispelling matter…
Everyday people and objects, they just turn into steam… You’re just watching television, having a rest after a hard work day… And then the soul of the things around you starts to unfocus… Like halos projecting themselves up to the ceiling…

Does life matter as much as we usually believe it does? Isn’t it just the waiting room of a nothingness beyond understanding? Isn’t our existence just a mere digression from the middle of nowhere?
We blindingly believe in the appearances and phantoms of the ordinary… Will this take us somewhere better? Is there really something better?

I wanted to stop running around in circles…
And then one day, I finally figured out how to do it…
